Birding Retreat
Thursday-Sunday
9089 Highway 21 N
Babbitt, MN 55706
Full facility cabins available at a price range, and some limited individual registration available!
Birds of a feather flock together… And spring is the time for both birds and birders to make their way to camp! The Superior National Forest is a breeding area for warblers in mid-May, and camp in the spring is also a great spot for observing bald eagles, merlin falcons, and various water fowl. The weekend will include conversations with local experts, outings on foot and on the water to get up close with different species, and a tips and tricks photography session to improve your shots. Bring your binoculars and journals and prepare to spend time with your fellow bird lovers.
This year we are excited to offer limited individual registration (along with our usual full-facility cabin availability.) If you’d like to register solo, we have 5 spots available in our “hostel-style” housing. We guarantee a solo room, but shared kitchen and bathroom space. A great way to meet other birders!
