Join us March 4th for our virtual Widjiwagan Winter Warm Up!

We are excited to connect with Widjiwagan alumni across the country with our virtual platform this year.
We will kick things off with a few familiar camp songs and a brief update on Widjiwagan’s planning and preparation from Executive Director, Matt Poppleton.
Our speaker for this year’s event will be Anthony Taylor-Theba, Senior Vice President of Equity in the Outdoors for the Y of the North.
Anthony has been working directly with Widjiwagan, Y camps, Y nature-based programs and across Y departments to focus on answering the calls to action from our communities to ensure our outdoor spaces and programs are both anti-racist and representative of the rich diversity of our community.
Anthony will present on the work he done as a leader on racial equity in the outdoors and share his vision for the work ahead for Widjiwagan and the Y of the North.
