Balance is the ability to maintain the body’s position over the base of support, whether the base is stationary or moving.

The ForeverWell BBB program is intended to improve balance in older adults, thus reducing the risk of falling.

Program goals include:

Signs of Good Balance:

  1. The ability to walk and turn the head at the same time
  2. The ability to extend the hip and back
  3. The ability to reach down and pick something up
  4. The ability to reach up
  5. The ability to stand on one foot for 5 seconds
