Northern Wildfires YMCA Camp Relief Efforts

Support the camps that have shaped generations of adventurers.

This summer's wildfire crisis has profoundly impacted our YMCA camps and the life-changing wilderness, family, and overnight experiences they provide.

While our first priority has been ensuring the safety of campers and team members, the financial and operational effects of these events continue to unfold. Evacuations, shortened and canceled trips, hazardous air quality, unexpected transportation costs, equipment losses, and the uncertainty surrounding future programming have created immediate needs while reinforcing the importance of preparing our camps for the realities of future wildfire seasons.

SUPPORT OUR CAMPS

The Northern Wildfires YMCA Camp Relief Efforts bring our community together to support the camps that have shaped generations of adventurers.

Although Camp Widjiwagan, Camp Menogyn, Camp Warren, Camp Northern Lights, Camp Icaghowan, and Camp du Nord experienced the most significant operational disruptions, evacuations, and equipment losses, every YMCA of the North camp has been affected.

Whether you choose to support the camp that has been meaningful to you and your family or give where the need is greatest, gifts to each camp's Annual Fund provide camp leaders with the flexible resources they need to respond in real time, address emerging needs, and strengthen the long-term resilience of these extraordinary legacy places.
