Twins Takeover Day at Target Field
On September 14, the YMCA of the North took over Target Field for a day of community, connection, and fun with the Minnesota Twins.

ONE Y. ONE DAY. ONE BALLPARK.

For one unforgettable day, the YMCA of the North brought the Y community together at Target Field.

As the presenting partner of Twins Takeover Day, we filled the ballpark with the people, programs, and experiences that make the Y such a special part of our community.

From the first pitch to the final out, Y members, families, staff, and friends came together to celebrate, connect, and have a little fun.

FROM THE Y TO THE BALLPARK

Takeover Day was a chance to bring the Y experience somewhere new and share what moves our community with even more people.

Target Plaza was full of ways to play, create, compete, and connect. Families made memories, kids took the field, and Y staff and program teams brought the energy.

And we brought a little bit of everything that makes the Y fun, including plenty of baseball.

A lot went into making one big day at the ballpark happen.

From the people who showed up, to the staff and volunteers who made it possible, to the experiences that brought the Y to life, every number tells a little part of the story.

TAKE THE FIELD WITH THE Y

The Y community wasn't just in the stands. We took the field, too. Children joined the YMCA for an on-field parade before the game, led by our own Sneakers.

Then came one of the night's biggest moments: the first pitch. D'Mario and his mentor took the field together to throw the ceremonial first pitch, creating a special moment that brought the heart of the Y to Target Field.

Thank you to everyone who joined us at Target Field, from the kids who took the field and families who made memories to the staff, volunteers, partners, and everyone who helped bring the day to life.

And a special thank you to the Minnesota Twins for welcoming the YMCA of the North to Target Field and helping us create a day our community won't forget.
