Introducing Ihduhapi’s New Executive Director, Eric Fallon
In early December, Eric Fallon was named the new executive director for YMCA Camp Ihduhapi. But Eric is not new to the YMCA or to Ihduhapi.
Eric’s connection to the Y began in 2010 as a summer counselor at Christmas Tree (CCT), and over the years, he has built a remarkable leadership journey across our Adventure programs. From teen development at the Ridgedale YMCA to 10 summers leading Day Camp Ihduhapi—growing enrollment from 800 to over 2,000 campers—Eric has shaped countless experiences for youth, families, and staff.
Most recently serving as Interim Executive Director, Eric brings deep camp knowledge, strong community commitment, and a genuine love for Ihduhapi, where he has spent over a decade building relationships and strengthening traditions.
Beyond Camp
Camp is not just a job, it is part of Eric’s personal life as well. Eric and his wife Rachael met while they were both working at Christmas Tree. Now they share Oliver who is three and Charlotte, who is one year old.
When Eric isn’t busy with his family, he loves watching all Minnesota sports teams and he is a rugby referee in the fall and spring.
Leadership at Ihduhapi
For Eric, “leadership means empowering others to do their best work while providing clarity, trust, and support.” He shared that he “is excited to continue all the great traditions and programs that Ihduhapi has to offer.” And in the future, he has hopes of someday “renovating our Lodge and making it an even better building for our present and future campers.”
Please join us in congratulating Eric as he steps into this important role and continues leading the Ihduhapi community forward!
