  • Traditional Camp — Our classic overnight camp experience in Northwest Wisconsin allows campers to build relationships and practice teamwork through fun activities, including swimming, crafts, and climbing. A one-week overnight summer camp is available for kids aged 8-13, while a two-week program is offered for kids aged 11-13.
  • Summer Sampler — Are you interested in giving your child a fun summer camp experience, but aren't ready to send them away for a whole week? Our Summer Sampler program packs tons of fun into three activity days for kids aged 7-9.
  • Teen Summer Camp — Camp Icaghowan offers two overnight summer camps created especially for teenagers: Teen Adventure Camp and Teen Extreme. Teen Adventure brings ages 13-15 out into the Great Outdoors of Northwest Wisconsin for 12 days of adventures that range from river canoeing to climbing at Trollhaugen. Teen Extreme consists of 5 days of overnight adventures full of camping, hiking, climbing, kayaking, and more.
  • Horse Camp — Our horse camps in Northwest Wisconsin are designed for kids and young teens interested in the equestrian arts. Campers will learn all the essential skills for riding, grooming, and caring for horses. We offer five-day camps with foals for ages 8-10, and with ponies for 10- to 12-year-olds. Girls aged 12-14 can participate in our more advanced twelve-day course with fillies.
  • Canoe and Kayak Trips — If your teen or preteen wants to attend an overnight summer camp with lots of time spent on the water, Camp Icaghowan has canoe and kayak-themed programs available. Our Pioneer and Challenger programs bring ages 14-16 out into the wilderness for a river canoeing adventure. Our Islanders program will allow teens aged 15-17 to embark on a guided kayaking and camping trip through the Apostle Islands of Lake Superior.
  • Teen Leadership — Teenagers interested in honing their leadership skills can attend two three-week summer camp programs at Camp Icaghowan that help them learn and grow. The Work Leadership Camper program trains 15- to 16-year-old teens to develop their leadership style through service learning activities. Our Counselor In Training program, available to 16-year-olds, allows campers interested in becoming staff to shadow a counselor and practice their leadership abilities.
