Join Team Gathering Pines

Looking for meaningful work in youth development and outdoor adventure? Join the team at Camp Gathering Pines, where you'll be part of a community dedicated to creating meaningful, camper-focused experiences and helping young people grow, learn, and thrive.

Whether you're leading a group of campers, teaching new skills as a lifeguard, facilitating outdoor adventures, or supporting daily camp operations, you'll gain valuable leadership experience, develop new skills, build lasting friendships, and spend your summer doing work that makes a difference. Along the way, you'll grow your confidence, discover new strengths, and create memories that last well beyond the summer.

Check out the work opportunities below!  Any questions can be directed to our Senior Program Coordinator, Chloe Gustafson at Chloe.Gustafson@ymcamn.org.

Leadership Development Program (LDP) | Grades 9-12 (NEW)

Take the next step in your leadership journey! Through an application and approval process, selected Teen Leaders begin with an engaging week of camp activities, leadership development, learning, and service. In their second week, they'll partner with an experienced camp counselor mentor as a co-leader, gaining hands-on experience and making a positive impact on younger campers. After successfully completing the two-week program, Teen Leaders are invited to continue volunteering at camp, building their skills, confidence, and connections while making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
