Summer Overnight Counselor
Camp Ihduhapi in Loretto, MN is hiring overnight cabin counselors for the 2026 summer season, June 1-August 27. Counselors live on-site in shared cabins, with housing and meals included, and work Sunday through Thursday. Compensation begins at $80 per day.
In partnership with a co-counselor, you’ll lead 8-10 campers, ensuring a safe and fun experience. Duties include leading activities like canoeing, archery, swimming, arts and crafts, and nature programs, joining campfires and games, cooking a weekly meal over the fire, and occasional overnight tenting.

We will conduct interviews on a rolling basis, with a goal of having the majority of our summer team in place by late spring.
Room & Board: During camper weeks (when campers are in-camp), you will sleep and live in a camper cabin, and all meals will be provided. On weekends off (Fri/Sat), counselors 18+ can request to stay at camp as needed.
Age Requirement: 17+
(17-year-old applicants will be directed to participate in our internship program prior to potential employment)
Season: June 1 – August 27
Starting Pay Rate: $80/day
