Tent/RV Camping at Camp Northern Lights

About Our Sites

Back of Beyond Village, where all of our camp sites are located, is a personal favorite spot at camp for a lot of families because of the community that is built there. People frequently cook meals together over the fire, there’s a playground in the middle of the village, and we also have a large bathhouse facility with restrooms and showers. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit with a grate for cooking. There are electric hookups at all camp sites. A centrally located water spigot is provided at each camping area. All water in camp is safe for drinking unless noted otherwise. There is a food cache centrally located with refrigerators and freezers. There are shelves in the food cache for dry food storage.

Tent or RV camping is the perfect way to experience family camp. Our camp sites are $725.00 for 6-night sessions and $363.00 for 3-night sessions, making them the most affordable sites at camp. Camping at Northern Lights is a great option for families of all adventure backgrounds. Our staff is here to support you in any way we can. You can find more information below about our camping gear library for families who have a need for camping gear and supplies. We also make sure to have staff on call 24/7 in case of emergencies.

Bear Box Contents

Each camp site has a bear box, which is a secure, bear resistant storage container designed to keep food and scented items safe from bears and other animals. Each bear box contains:

  • 6 Plastic Bowls
  • 6 Plastic Plates
  • 6 Trail Cups (with handle)
  • Dish Tub 
  • Dish Drying Rack
  • 8 Plastic Cups (6 large, 2 small) 
  • 6 of each Silverware (forks, spoons, & knives)

Looking to borrow camping gear? Maybe it’s your first time camping?  We have a lot of camping supplies to loan out! We want to make sure everyone can experience family camp and recognize that gear can be a large barrier to folks. We are happy to provide your family with:

  • Cookware (utensils, pots/pans, cups, flatware, etc.)
  • Sleeping Bags
  • Sleeping Pads
  • Tarps
