Take the next step in your leadership journey! The Leadership Development Program (LDP) is designed for teens who are ready to grow as leaders, serve others, and make a positive impact at camp.
Through an application and invite process, selected Teen Leaders begin with an engaging week of camp activities, leadership development, learning, and service. In their second week, they'll partner with an experienced camp counselor mentor as a co-leader, gaining hands-on experience leading activities, supporting younger campers, serving as positive role models, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming camp environment.
After successfully completing the two-week program, Teen Leaders are encouraged to continue volunteering at camp throughout the summer, building their skills, confidence, and connections while making a lasting difference in the lives of others.
How to Apply
The LDP application and selection process takes place in several steps:
- Apply: Applications open in November. Interested teens should complete and submit an application to be considered for the program.
- Application Review: After review by camp leadership, selected applicants will receive an invitation to participate in the program beginning in January.
- Register: Once an invitation is received, applicants must complete program registration to secure their spot.
Please Note: Applications are accepted until all program spots are filled. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and applicants must receive an invitation before registering.
Program Cost
The program cost is $300 ($270 for members). This fee covers the first week of leadership development and mentorship activities, program T-shirts, and transportation. Financial assistance is available; please let us know if assistance is needed.
