The Basics
Eat
Summer – We will not be offering meal service for campers in Summer 2025 due to the fire that occurred that destroyed our commercial kitchen in 2024.
Fall, Winter and Spring – limited meal service is available for specific groups.
Sleep
Camp Northern Lights has various cabins and sites that sleep anywhere from 2 to 16 people. Cabins range from rustic to full-facility. Find the right fit for you!
Explore
With something for everyone, seasonal activities range from kayaking in the summer to xc-skiing in the winter.
Summer activities include stand-up paddle-boarding, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, and motorized watercraft (pontoons & fishing boats) rentals.
Winter activities include snowshoeing, fat tire biking, xc-skiing, sledding hill, and ice fishing.
Year-round activities include hiking trails, and campfires.

Family Camp is always about connection and community. We are a destination of choice for school groups, yoga retreats, family reunions, weddings, and more. We will work with you to create a unique experience that meets your group's needs.
Book Your Own Getaway
Full Facility Cabins
Enjoy the comforts of home in a gorgeous wilderness setting. Full-facility cabins are located in North Point Village and Buena Vista Village. All cabins have electricity, running water, bathrooms, and kitchens with appliances, cookware, and eating utensils. In addition, all cabins have an outside fire ring and charcoal grill.
Bungalows
These cabins offer simple living. Each of the four cabins features two sets of twin-over-queen bunk beds. They also include a refrigerator, microwave, dual-burning hot plate, screened-in porch, picnic table outside, and charcoal grill. A fire ring is just outside your door, and a bathhouse building is a short walk away.
Tent Sites and RV Sites
Five sites can accommodate vehicles, including small campers or up to 25-foot pop-up trailers. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring (with grate), bear box (food storage), electrical hook-up (30 am), and potable water spigot.

Activity Spaces
Family Art Barn
Our Family Art Barn is located in Buena Vista Village. It is a great space for group gatherings like yoga, discussion, or workshops. The Art Barn is well-suited for 30-40 people with a maximum capacity of nearly 60. The FAB features a fireplace, Wi-Fi, nearby bathrooms, and a kitchen prep area.
Trail Center
The Trail Center is located in the heart of the camp and is the launching point for seasonal activities such as mountain biking, snowshoeing, and xc-skiing.
Bear Island Stage
This outdoor space overlooks the lake and features a 15' 10" x 8' stage and bench seating for up to 150 people.
