Indoor Gathering Spaces

Great Room

Located in the Welcome Center, the Great Room is a great indoor space for larger gatherings.  The Great Room has large windows, a fireplace, AV setup, and has access to meal prep space. Meal prep space includes all the basics such as fridge, microwave, and sink. Seats up to 90 people.

Meeting Room

The meeting room is a great space for smaller-sized meetings and activities in the Welcome Center. The meeting room also functions as a warming house for winter activities. Seats up to 20 people.


Located furthest into camp, the STEAM Barn is a large, sheltered space great for larger groups of youth. The STEAM Barn has electricity but is not heated.

Outdoor Gathering Spaces


Known as the Singing Hill during summer Day Camp, the Amphitheater is a great space for large gatherings and is located close to the Welcome Center and Apollo Pavilion. 

Discovery Pavilion

The Discovery Pavilion is a great outdoor meeting space that can be used for picnics, reunions and outdoor activities. This pavilion is located closest to the Welcome Center and parking lot. 

Challenger Pavilion

The Challenger Pavilion has easy access to the High Challenge Courses and is located along a beautiful camp hiking trail. 

Atlantis Pavilion

The Atlantis Pavilion is located near the pool and the Welcome Center. This is a great meeting space for pool Birthday Parties and activities! 

Voyager Pavilion

The Voyager Pavilion is located near the Amphitheater and is close to the Welcome Center. This Pavilion has a great view of camp!


Lodging and Food Service

Gathering Pines does not currently provide Lodging or Food Service.

Recreational and Meeting Equipment

YMCA adventure centers can generally provide any special equipment you may need to enjoy your time with us. 

Climbing / Challenge Course

Our climbing course is great for team building and features the following amenities:

  • Climbing towers
  • Giant zip line
  • High ropes course
  • And more

With something for everyone, seasonal activities range from kayaking in the summer to xc-skiing in the winter.

Summer activities include stand-up paddle-boarding, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, and motorized watercraft (pontoons & fishing boats) rentals. 

Winter activities include snowshoeing, fat tire biking, xc-skiing, sledding hill, and ice fishing. 

Year-round activities include saunas, hiking trails, and campfires.
