Hidden Falls Day Camp
Powered by Camp St. Croix
The YMCA has partnered with the City of St. Paul to bring Day Camp into the City! Located on the mighty Mississippi River, Hidden Falls Regional Park is the perfect place to learn about the city’s water source and explore the great outdoors. With the National Park Service as a partner, campers will meet a Park Ranger and learn how to care for this precious natural resource. And no, YMCA Day Camp would not be complete without traditional camp activities such as Archery, Shelter Building, Camp Songs, Canoeing, and Fishing. The best part of this experience is that campers will learn how to experience recreation in a park open every day all year!
Required Waiver
Our friends at Wilderness Inquiry will be providing a paddle experience for campers at this location. Please fill out the waiver and either scan and email to NearbyNature@ymcamn.org or bring to camp on the first day!

- Afternoon Pick-Up: 5:00 PM
* Before & After Care at Midway YMCA will be conditional upon at least 30 participants signing up for this option. If this amount is not reached by June 1st, parents will be notified and given a choice to transfer to Before and After Care at Hidden Falls.

Lake Phalen Day Camp
Powered by Camp St. Croix
The YMCA has partnered with the City of St. Paul to bring Day Camp into the City! Lake Phalen Regional Park will be home to brand new Adventures for campers this summer. Participants will be engaged in many different traditional camp activities throughout the week, including but not limited to Canoeing, Arts and Crafts, Archery, Fishing, and Nature Hikes. In addition, Campers will learn more about the surrounding ecosystem and answer questions like…
- What is a pollinator?
- What animals live in the lake? What do they eat?
- What is pollution, and how can we prevent it?
