Bring your group to our beautiful, wilderness location.
We offer a variety of lodge-based, group experience at Camp Menogyn. Our staff can be as involved as you would like. We can act as hosts for your group providing accommodations and meals. Our staff can also be more involved by guiding day trips, teaching wilderness skills (like skiing and canoeing), and more. Regardless of our involvement, we can provide your group equipment and permits to take full advantage of our unique location.
We believe in the power of solitude. Our goal is to create a calming environment where participants can unplug, unwind, and connect. With that in mind, we partake in “quiet sports” at Menogyn, like skiing, snowshoeing, canoeing and hiking. Motorized vehicles will remained parked at our lot on the south shore.
School, camp, church, families, and private groups are welcome.

Choose your season!
The Northwoods come alive with color in the fall! Upon arrival, our staff will help shuttle your group across Bearskin Lake to our remote location. The best activities near camp are accessible by foot and canoe and we have several day trip adventures for your group to enjoy. Ambitious participants can spend a day going to Rose or Johnson Falls. We also have great sights closer to camp like Caribou Rock and Honeymoon Bluff. Our experienced staff can guide these trips upon request. We provide everything your group will need as you explore by day and relax in our cabins or lodge by night.
During the fall season, we have many spaces that can serve as breakout spaces for your group.
Experience the beauty of the Northwoods in winter with frosted trees and frozen lakes! We have all the gear your group may need to enjoy our surroundings like skis and snowshoes. Our experienced staff members lead your group in skiing, snowshoeing, and dogsledding adventures.* When not outside, your group will enjoy our heated cabins and our beautiful dining hall.
During the winter, we have limited heated spaces to serve as breakout spaces. Contact us to learn more about our facilities and how we can make your retreat of program a reality.
*Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be offering dogsledding programs for the 2021 winter season. We have full intentions to bring back the dogsledding program for winter 2022.
