Center For Youth Voice Hosts the National Civics Bee State Final

For the first time, the YMCA Center for Youth Voice is hosting the National Civics Bee Minnesota State Final, and you're invited!

Join us at the Minnesota History Center on Sunday, June 14th, from 1:00–3:00 PM for a free, family-friendly afternoon.

This milestone event brings together Minnesota's top middle school civics scholars for a spirited competition, with one outstanding student earning the honor of representing our state at the National Civics Bee in Washington, D.C.

We are thrilled to be joined by emcee Annastasia Collier, Senior Vice President of Social Impact at the YMCA of the North, and an outstanding panel of judges:

  • Melanie Hazelip, Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State
  • Mercedes McFarland Jackson, Fredrikson & Byron
  • Michelle Maryns, Minnesota Council on Foundations

Come on out to support and celebrate these remarkable students. Please RSVP using the button below. Hope to see you there!
