Something special is happening this year: Youth in Government turns 80, and we want you to be part of the celebration.
This January, we’re bringing alumni, supporters, and friends of Minnesota YMCA Youth in Government together at the Minnesota State Capitol for a special evening celebrating eight decades of this remarkable program.
Save the date: Friday, January 8, 2027
3:30–5:00 p.m. | Optional Youth in Government tour
5:00–7:00 p.m. | First Annual Alumni & Friends Celebration
Whether your YIG experience was decades ago or more recent, come see the program today, hear what’s happening with the next generation of delegates, and enjoy an evening at the Capitol with people who share a connection to YIG.
We’ll open registration soon. For now, put January 8 on your calendar, and start thinking about the YIG friends you’d love to see there.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you.
80 Years of Leadership. Connections that Last.
