Camp life at Icaghowan is based on long-standing traditions and our commitment to enriching the spirits, minds and bodies of our campers. We focus on providing an encouraging and comfortable space for kids and teens to learn skills and build character.

The values of caring, honesty, respect, responsibility and equity are at the core of everything we do.

Housing

Campers are typically organized into cabin groups by age and gender. A typical cabin group consists of 8–12 campers and two staff members.

We will honor up to two friend requests, provided:

  • Requests are made in advance
  • Campers are within two years in age

Most campers come alone and make friends quickly.

Dining

We provide a well-balanced diet and our kitchen staff prides themselves on creating tasty meals.

Overnights

Every cabin gets the chance to go on an overnight camping trip. Summer Samplers go on a cookout. As a cabin group, campers pick their menu, pack their gear and canoe or backpack to their site.
