Family Art Center

The Family Art Center will be open this summer, with opportunities to craft inside and out. We will continue to offer a variety of craft classes and activities for all ages throughout the week, offer open art, and have opportunities to take to-go art kits back to your cabins. Some classes charge a small additional fee for materials. Try your hand at painting, inkle weaving, making friendship bracelets, zen doodle and more.

Camp Store & Nature Nook

The Camp Store went through a transition this past summer as we introduced the “Nature Nook” to share this space! This decision was based off our commitment to continue growing our Nature and Wilderness Programming and we could not be more excited to on how year 1 went for the Nature Nook.

The Nature Nook holds much to discover! This space is the host to animal bones, plant examples, microscopes, nature identification books, night sky kits, and our Camp Naturalist! If you are looking to learn more about the nature around camp this is the perfect place for you! Swing by when the Camp store is open to check in with our Naturalist about a question you have, follow your curiosity, or check a cool leaf out under one of our microscopes!

The Camp Store remains a constant at du Nord for Campers to swing by to grab a cup of espresso, a scoop of ice cream, or pick up your hard-earned polar bear shirt! Our merch is continually updated with focuses on clothing, fun trinkets, and local products. The Camp Store is located beneath the Dining Hall and directly across the patio from the Camp Office. The Camp Store hours are posted on the Camper schedule upon arrival at Camp.
