Gain Perspective from Dr. Hedy Lemar Walls
Since 1987 March has been recognized as National Women’s History Month in the United States. During this month we recognize the hard work and accomplishments of women across the globe and throughout history. Take the time to celebrate the women in your life who make a difference every day.
The 2022 Women’s History theme is Providing Healing, Promoting Hope. What a fitting tribute to the ceaseless work of brave and resilient caregivers and frontline workers during this ongoing pandemic and also a recognition of the thousands of ways that women of all cultures have provided both healing and hope throughout history.
During our equity journey we learn that every woman has a story to tell and gifts to share with the world. Together we can create safe spaces and opportunities for them to thrive.
Whether it is the Equity Leadership Institute, Transformational Workplace Culture series, custom training, free online classes or more, the YMCA Equity Innovation Center is here for you to intentionally engage in thought-provoking experiences and resources that will expand your knowledge and skills. We hope you will join us as you continue your equity journey.
Connect with our team to discuss how we can support you.
