For Campers Entering Grades 7–12
We offer canoe trips for a variety of skill levels. Our trips progress in difficulty, giving campers new challenges year after year. Start with trips in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, then move on to Canada’s Quetico Provincial Park in future summers.
Campers can expect to:
- Live and travel in a small community of 4-6 other campers
- Travel an average of 5–12 miles a day
- Develop wilderness skills like paddling, portaging, navigation, and campcraft
- Learn about low-impact wilderness travel
- Build connections and friendships with other campers
- Challenge themselves under the supervision of our highly trained guides
Financial assistance is available.
Intro to Canoeing: Boundary Waters
This is a great opportunity for younger campers to experience Menogyn Magic for the first time. Campers will prepare for their trip in camp and then spend two nights and three days on trail exploring the beautiful Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Everyone will have fun learning how to paddle, portage, and set up camp.
Contact us at info@campmenogyn.org for more information about all-gender trips.
