Gain Perspective from Dr. Hedy Lemar Walls
Welcome to 2022! We've grown through another year, and we have all been handed an opportunity to learn more in this new season. This month is dedicated to honoring the courage in all. We recognize diverse abilities, the fight for racial justice, and we remember survivors and victims. On January 17 we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. We remember the pain endured and bravery displayed on January 25 for all Holocaust survivors and victims. On January 4 we raise awareness of the importance of Braille as a means of communication for blind and partially sighted people for World Braille Day. We all possess different dimensions of diversity, but we can all participate in creating safe places and dialogue for us all to show up as we are.
