Minneapolis – The YMCA of the North, a leading nonprofit dedicated to youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, is partnering with One Pass® and Sqairz to provide free mobility and balance screenings at the Southdale and Midway YMCAs this summer.
Open to YMCA members and the broader community, the screenings will utilize Kinetisense®, the world’s leading 3D motion capture technology, to provide participants with personalized insights into their movement, balance and mobility. Screenings will be available on a drop-in basis with no RSVP required and will take about 10 minutes to complete.
Participants will receive a fast, high-tech movement analysis and review their results with YMCA and Sqairz experts. Attendees will also learn practical strategies to improve balance and strength, explore programs tailored to their wellbeing goals, enjoy complimentary refreshments and giveaways, and receive an exclusive Sqairz offer of up to $50 off performance footwear.
Using iPads, Kinetisense captures and analyzes gait and movement in seconds, helping individuals better understand their physical performance and identify opportunities to improve strength, stability and confidence in everyday activities. The Kinetisense technology featured at the screenings is proudly sponsored by Sqairz, a leader in athletic performance footwear.
