Three area Preschools prepare kids two to five years old for school with part-day readiness programs during the school year.
For the summer, children in preschool through eighth grade can enjoy a variety of enrichment programs.
Arts and humanities classes

Safe Sitter Classes
Safe Sitter®, an up-to-date and well-rounded youth development program with a medical basis, teaches youth between the ages of 11 and 14 everything they need to know to keep themselves and the children in their care safe. The nationally-recognized, pediatrician-developed program includes child care techniques, basic first aid, rescue techniques (like choking infant and child rescue), babysitting as a business, and online and cellphone safety.

Workout Child Care
When you come to work out at the Y, consider bringing your children along for the fun that awaits them at Kids Stuff, the Y’s child care program. Children ages six weeks to 10 years that are members can participate in age-appropriate activities in a safe environment—free for Family and One Adult Family Members. Learn more

YMCA Homeschool Physical Education is designed to teach the importance of healthy living through sports and aquatics activities. From September to May, the program follows comprehensive curriculum that includes instruction in sports, gym games, fitness skills, and pool activities. YMCA Homeschool PE is a great place to meet new friends, create long lasting relationships and learn about the importance of healthy living.
