Hello! My name is Thelma Benitez, I am a senior pursuing a career in Speech-Language Pathology and working with Bilingual students. I am currently serving as both a Program Manager for Step N Stone, and as a mentor in the classroom. One of my favorite parts of my involvement has been participating in the pen pal program, as it creates a unique and impactful way to connect with students and stay engaged with them over time! Overall, my experience with UY has been incredibly rewarding and has strengthened my passion for mentorship and community involvement.
