Kids learn teamwork and build skills through YMCA youth sports.
Our partnerships with local school districts offer before- and after-school care and school-release day options for kids in kindergarten through sixth grade at dozens of locations across the Twin Cities.
For the summer, children in preschool through eighth grade can enjoy a variety of enrichment programs.
Traditional day camp held across from Wargo Nature Center in Lino Lakes. Free bussing available from Arden Hills, Columbus, Lino Lakes, Maplewood, Mounds View, Roseville, White Bear Lake and the White Bear Area YMCA.
Arts and humanities classes
Encourage expression in creativity with enrichment classes for kids. These classes are only offered during select times throughout the year. Contact Member Services at 651-777-8103 for more info.
Parents night out
Due to capacity restrictions per COVID guidance from government and health departments, Parents Night Out events are cancelled at this time. The health and safety of youth and families is our priority. Please check back as we will continue to provide updates on this page as circumstances change.
Workout Child Care
When you come to work out at the Y, consider bringing your children along for the fun that awaits them at Kids Stuff, the Y’s child care program. Children ages six weeks to 10 years that are members can participate in age-appropriate activities in a safe environment—free for Family and One Adult Family Members. Learn more

YMCA Homeschool Physical Education is designed to teach the importance of healthy living through sports and aquatics activities. From September to May, the program follows comprehensive curriculum that includes instruction in sports, gym games, fitness skills, and pool activities. YMCA Homeschool PE is a great place to meet new friends, create long lasting relationships and learn about the importance of healthy living.
Special programming for teens in middle and high school is designed to help young people be healthy and active, build leadership skills and prepare for the future.
Unique seasonal fitness challenges, motivation programs and adventure races that keep kids physically active all year long.
