YMCA Sports Camp - Northwest Region

Please see below your updated sports location and schedule information for this summer.


Kids of all skill levels and abilities can choose from a variety of sports to explore this summer in week-long YMCA Summer Sports Camps.

Summer Sports Camp Fees

All Participants: $75/week

One time, non-refundable deposit of $25 per week per child includes a program T-shirt and will be applied to the weekly fee. Weekly fee includes all field trip admissions and program supplies. Financial assistance available for all programs.

Program Hours: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

Before and After Care: $20/week *North Community Location only. All other locations are $40/week.
7:00 – 9 a.m. and 3 – 6 p.m.

For your convenience and peace of mind, our Before and After Care provides the participant with supervised activities prior to and following the end of the program day.

Weeks of June 8, July 13, August 10 and August 31

Kids will work through curriculum focused on ball-control, passing, trapping, shooting and defense. Participants have the option of bringing their own shin guards and cleats.


Weeks of June 22 and August 3

We will practice on a local golf course where young golfers will have an opportunity to improve their driving, chipping and putting. Bring your own golf clubs; but clubs are available if needed.


Week of July 27

Kids learn about the sport of volleyball including rules, communication skills, serving, setting and passing.


Weeks of June 15 and July 13

Learn the fundamentals of tennis. Participants are encouraged to bring their own racquet. Tennis balls are provided.


Weeks of June 15, July 20 and August 10

Participants develop and improve skills: throwing, catching, pitching, hitting and running bases.

Track and Field

Weeks of June 29 and August 3 (No program July 3)

Kids learn the proper techniques of running, pacing, jumping and throwing.


Weeks of June 22, July 6 July 20 and August 17

Players will progress through the skills of basketball: dribbling, passing, shooting and defensive skills through drills.

Flag Football

Weeks of June 8, July 6, July 27 and August 24

Kids get experience in playing every position while learning the offensive and defensive basics. These skills include but are not limited to catching, passing and pursuing the flag.
