Let's talk about how food choices can help us build health and reduce chronic inflammation. We will briefly review the basics of chronic inflammation, as well. Please bring your questions, your ideas and your experiences to share. Changing our dietary patterns can be a big challenge. Have you made changes? In this talk, Dr. Lissa Rankin gives an interesting and easy to follow review of the mind-body connection. She talks about what we can learn from the placebo effect about how our thoughts impact our physical health. She also introduces her ideas about intentionally building health in the mind, body and spirit. This talk is a little longer (18 minutes), but we will have plenty of time to discuss her ideas and how we might apply them to our own lives.
